Next Step

Plastic waste is currently one of the biggest problems that affects our world today. With massive changes taking place in numerous ecosystems due to the human influence on climate change, governments are faced with the question of how we can make our society more adaptable to these changes. As students at one of the most prominent universities in the United States, it is our duty to contribute to these conversations by researching and recommending new, innovative ways to be sustainable consumers. Each person can take responsibility and help by living more sustainably by regularly using the many convenient refill stations located around campus. Students can personally reach out to our community leaders and university officials with questions and concerns to help ensure that our campus is living up to the challenges and our expectations.
